David Beckham was unveiled a Los Angeles Galaxy player, this afternoon. The 32-year-old football icon was paraded into the Home Depot Centre in Carson, California along with his wife, Victoria. Beckham, sporting a grey suit and short, dye-blonde hair and an unusual patch of facial stubble, was presented to approximately 5000-onlookers. Victoria, with short-trimmed hair and wearing a modest, fuchsia dress with matching hand-bag, posed politely for the throng of cameramen. Galaxy General Manager Alexei Lalas presented Beckham with the club's new shirt. The former Real Madrid and Manchester United midfielder will play his first match for Galaxy against Chelsea on Saturday, 21 July in Carson.
